Obituary

James Thomas Booth, 69, of Leitchfield graduated from this life and went home to his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 22, 2022.  Jim was born on January 9, 1953, the son of the late Henry Thomas Booth and Geneva Coffey Booth.  He was retired from the City of Leitchfield where he served for 22 years.  He loved life, the Lord, his family, friends, motorcycles and bluegrass music.  He was a simple but unique man who always had a smile on his face and a willingness to help others.

He is survived by his wife, Christy (Logsdon) Booth, son James Booth II (Renee), daughter, Jill Scott, sisters Nancy Reich (Pete), Sue Mattingly (Rex) and Kathy Clemons (William), a grandson Corben Lee Southard and lots of nieces and nephews.

Jim requested no formal funeral service.  However, there will be a celebration of life and potluck dinner in the weeks to come.  That will be posted when a date and time has been arranged.
